Quicksilver swaps Fins for Pedal Power

Quicksilver is continuing to spread its Eco message by sponsoring a brightly coloured, fun and engaging Eco Cab, designed to look like an underwater observatory, as it transports locals and tourists around the streets of Port Douglas.

A unique, fun experience during the school holidays, with the sun shining and the wind in your hair as you are pedalled around Port Douglas in the Quickie Eco cab.

The Eco Cabs with their environmentally friendly features and pedal assisted rechargeable motors are a perfect fit for Quicksilver who promotes the highest Ecotourism accreditation, Climate Action Innovation and our own Reef Biosearch environmental division.

Michael Healy, Group Director Quicksilver Sales and Marketing said “We are delighted to be working with Eco Cabs and hopefully people will smile when they see a little of the reef pedalling on the streets of Port.”
