Cairns to Port Douglas Ferry Day Trip

While the main highway between Cairns and Port Douglas remains closed in some parts, Quicksilver has commenced a coastal ferry service starting on 2 January. It's the perfect excuse to visit the beautiful seaside village of Port as a day trip or for your holiday accommodation connection.

As a day tripper, you’ll have over 6 hours to explore the charm and tropical lifestyle of Port Douglas at your own pace. Enjoy the day shopping on Macrossan Street, dining at world-class restaurants and hotels, take in a round of golf, or stroll along the famous palm tree lined Four Mile Beach. Take in the sights from Flagstaff Hill and delightful walking trails, wild life park or even join our Quicksilver reef cruises. There’s so much to see and do!

Departing from the Cairns Marlin Marina at 8:00am, passengers arrive directly to Port Douglas Crystalbrook Marina, located in easy walking distance to the town's many attractions. Transfers take approximately 90 minutes. The return trip to Cairns departs Port Douglas Marina at approx. 4:15 pm.
