James and his guide dog 'Huey' go to the Reef

Quicksilver was delighted to welcome partially sighted guest James Devenny and family, along with his faithful Labrador guide dog, Huey, to experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef at our Agincourt Reef activity platform.

James was elated at experiencing and feeling the underwater environment with the Oceanwalker helmet dive, walking on an underwater platform to depth of about 4 metres surrounded by marine life and corals.

After experiencing the Outer Reef, James, Huey and family were off next to enjoy more of the Great Barrier Reef on beautiful Low Isles aboard our sailing catamaran Wavedancer. While the Great Barrier Reef is world famous, Huey is also quite a famous pooch having made a few appearances on the TV show Neighbours!
