Green Island Christmas Feast on the Reef

A trip to Green Island is always special, but a trip to Green Island on Christmas Day for an indulgent feast on the reef makes for a Christmas to remember in this tropical wonderland, just 45 minutes from Cairns.

Head Chef Brenton Philp has prepared a sensational buffet lunch menu at the island’s Emeralds Restaurant inspired by wonderful local produce and of course with all the traditional favourites and trimmings, says Green Island Resort General Manager Sue O’Donnell. 

As well as a treat for house guests, there are limited seats available for day visitors to join in the celebrations. After feasting to your content, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the lush rainforest, laze on the beach or a enjoy festive cocktail by the main pool. 

As a day visitor, the price for the fully inclusive Christmas buffet lunch, two hour beverage package and island transfers is $280 for adults and $94 for children aged 4 – 13 years. If you don’t want to leave, you can always stay the night!
