Great Adventures, part of the multi-award-winning Quicksilver Group, is a premier operator of ecotourism cruises on the Great Barrier Reef. Based in Cairns, we offer a range of unforgettable reef experiences through our services, including Great Adventures Reef and Green Island Cruises, Silverswift Dive and Snorkel Adventures, Ocean Spirit Michaelmas Cay Sailing Cruises, and Seawalker Green Island.
We operate a modern fleet of five vessels, outer reef platforms, and diving services including daily dive operations at Green Island. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Storeman to join our Purchasing Team in Cairns.
We’re seeking a team player with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of duties, including:
Verifying invoices and delivery dockets against received goods
Conducting monthly stocktakes at various store locations and reporting any discrepancies
Managing barge operations to Green Island Resort to ensure timely and accurate delivery/storage of goods
Assisting with vessel departures and arrivals, including managing gangways and passenger boarding
Monitoring and maintaining temperature control records for store fridges and freezers
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A manual driver’s licence
A minimum of 1 year experience in a stores/warehouse or similar logistics role
Basic computer literacy and the ability to use inventory systems
A proactive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to work in a dynamic marine tourism environment
