- Located on beautiful Green Island (27km offshore from Cairns, Queensland)
- Permanent Part Time position (approximately 33 hours per week)
- Hourly rate - $25.85 plus applicable penalties
- PLUS:
- Free daily returns to the Island from the Cairns pier
- Daily lunch provided (prepared by quality hospitality professionals)
- Stay overnight on the island up to 2 nights per week

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team on a permanent part time basis.
About the Role
As a Room Attendant you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the service, presentation and cleanliness of the Great Barrier Reef’s first Eco Resort.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Clean and maintain guest accommodation rooms to the highest possible standards
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and common areas
- Perform laundry duties when required
- Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within specified timeframes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be willing and able to work a rotating roster, that will include weekends and public holidays
- Be willing and able to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via Catamaran, plus stay overnight on the island for up to 2 nights per week
- Able to start early December
