About the role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead and support our cruise attendants on board our vessels. This role is pivotal in ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, seamless, and memorable experience.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Supervise and mentor cruise attendants, fostering a culture of excellent customer service
Support daily vessel operations, including rostering, team briefings, and debriefings
Assist with training initiatives and ongoing development of staff
Act as the primary point of contact to support the Customer Service Manager during periods of leave to ensure continuity of support
Deliver a high level of guest satisfaction including managing enquiries, requests and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner
Work a rotating roster that includes weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
To excel in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, or willingness to obtain
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (SITXFSA005 and SITXFSA006), or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
Flexibility to work primarily on vessels and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Competent in the use of computers, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
