About the role

Pro Dive Cairns, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the business, overseeing core human resource functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, workers compensation and learning and development.
This position is part time with specific days and times to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day human resource inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities
- Maintain and update employee records and files including training certifications and visa statuses
- Ensure all employees are compliant with required certifications and have up to date visa documentation
- Administer workers compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting and supporting return to work
- Promote employee wellbeing and maintain a positive team culture
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience with Human Resources
- Return to Work Coordinator qualification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A valid driver’s license
