About the role
As the Hospitality Team Leader you will support, lead and motivate a small food and beverage team to meet excellent customer service standards to island and resort guests.
Reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervise the daily operations of Green Islands Resorts Canopy Grill café and Green’s Buffet operations to ensure all guests receive exceptional customer service in line with Green Islands policies and procedures
- Oversee the food and beverage operations to ensure excellent quality and presentation of offerings
- Act as the first point of contact to trouble shoot customer or staff complaints
- Contribute to daily operations including set up and set down of outlets

To be successful in this position you will
- Have the ability to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor qualification
- Have Responsible Service of Alcohol (or the ability to obtain)
- Be willing and able to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via cruise ship
- Be willing and able to commit to a seven day (7) rotating roster
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead a high performing hospitality team
