About the role

As the Restaurant Supervisor you will make Green Island your home in a fully furnished unit with all meals provided as part of your package.  You will supervise, coordinate and train a team of food and beverage staff to ensure high levels of customer service is delivered across Green Islands food and beverage outlets. 

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager your key responsibilities will include:    

  • Ensure all guests receive exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience/s
  • Allocate roles and responsibilities and ensure productivity and teamwork
  • Provide training to staff to ensure consistency with excellent customer service across food and beverage operations
  • Proactively manage business demands by allocating staff to applicable outlets to meet service demands  
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and contribute to a cohesive and professional workforce

To be successful in this position you will

  • Be First Aid qualified (or the ability to obtain)
  • Have Responsible Service of Alcohol (or the ability to obtain)
  • Have the ability to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor qualification
  • Have the ability to obtain RMLV and Approved Liquor Manager licence
  • Be willing and able to live on the island and commit to a (7) seven day rotating roster
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead a high performing hospitality team
