About the role
As one of Green Island's Housekeeping team members you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the service, presentation and cleanliness of the Great Barrier Reef’s first Eco Resort.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Clean and maintain guest accommodation rooms to the highest possible standards
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and common areas
- Report any faults, repairs or maintenance requirements to ensure prompt follow up and action
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and team members
- Assist with guest inquiries and requests when necessary
- Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

To be successful in this position you will
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Have attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Have excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within specified timeframes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be willing and able to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via Catamaran
- Be willing and able to commit to a (7) seven day rotating roster
