About the role
Applications are being sought for a permanent part-time or casual Catering Assistant in our catering department, working 4-5 days per week (around 25 hours per week, potentially more). Based in Port Douglas and reporting to the Catering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Daily food preparation for our vessels
- Basic kitchen hand duties
- Food delivery to our vessels
- Adhering to Food Safety practices
- Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene
About you
- Be an early riser for start time of 5am and weekend work may apply
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety practices
- Experience in a fast past kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
- Hold a current Australian C class drivers Licence (auto at min)
