About the role
Applicants are being sought for a PADI Dive Instructor to our team based out of Port Douglas. The position is a permanent part time position and is available for an enthusiastic and friendly individual. Weekend work will apply.
Reporting to our Dive Operations Manager, your key responsibilities include:
- Taking first time Divers for their first Dive on the Great Barrier Reef.
- Guide Certified Divers on one of the 40+ Dive sites available.
- Taking customer on their Ocean walker experience.
- Looking after the Snorkeler’s.
- Some customer service duties on board our vessels.
About you:
- PADI Dive Instructor
- Membership and Insurance
- Provide First Aid/ HLTAID009/011/015
- Occupational Dive Medical NZ/AU 2299
- RMDL- desirable
- Elements of Shipboard Safety-desirable
