Construction of our state-of-the-art Quicksilver Dive Centre in Port Douglas is powering ahead with the building and pool now starting to take shape. We're also pleased to announce Gary Savins has joined our team as the Quicksilver Dive School Operations Manager.
Quicksilver Dive will offer a range of PADI accredited courses for beginners to advanced divers looking to further their skills in a professional and safe learning environment. Courses will include:
Commenting on the Dive Centre, Quicksilver Group Managing Director Tony Baker said, “We have fantastic dive sites off Port Douglas in the Agincourt reefs and the dive school will complement the services Quicksilver currently provides. Our dive vessels Silversonic and Poseidon will be utilised for open water training and certification dives. With the four day dive course we hope to attract a new market to Port Douglas who will be spending up to a week in local accommodations and participate in other evening activities.”
